While we got by without knowing each other’s net worth, I can personally vouch for discussing to what extent assets and liabilities are going to be combined.
I just assumed there would be little or minimal combining of assets, because it was very apparent that we had vastly different risk appetites. But all the while she was thinking ti would be 100% combined.
It was a really big discussion that could’ve been settled much easier if we talked about it before getting married.
